Selected news and updates on my research, publications, teaching activities, talks, scientific service and collaborations in cryptography, cybersecurity, information security, post-quantum cryptography and digital trust.
Several recent papers have appeared in journals at the interface of cryptography, coding theory, cloud security and information protection:
Delivered a keynote entitled “Protecting Tomorrow’s Cameroonian Cyberspace: Building Digital Trust in the Post-Quantum Era” at the Work-GMC 2026 workshop at the University of Dschang, Cameroon. The talk highlighted the role of digital trust, cybersecurity governance, and post-quantum preparedness in supporting Cameroon’s digital transformation.
I am serving as a reviewer for IEEE ISIT 2025.
Delivered a series of lectures on code-based cryptography for Master students at the Center for Cybersecurity and Mathematical Cryptology , University of Bamenda, Cameroon.
I will serve on the Program Committee of AFRICACRYPT 2025.
Delivered a series of lectures on code-based cryptography at the CIMPA School in Douala, Cameroon, focusing on algebraic methods in information theory and post-quantum cryptography.
Presented our work “On the Generalizations of the Rank Metric over Finite Chain Rings” at AFRICACRYPT 2024 in Douala, Cameroon, and discussed new directions for rank-based cryptography with international researchers.
The paper “On the Generalizations of the Rank Metric over Finite Chain Rings” was accepted at AFRICACRYPT 2024.
I served on the Program Committee of AFRICACRYPT 2024.
I served on the Program Committee of IEEE CloudNet 2023.
Awarded the Seed Grant for New African Principal Investigators (SG-NAPI) to support the project RaCoFRAC on the construction of rank-metric codes over finite rings and their applications to cryptography.
Introduced a hands-on Python programming curriculum for second-year engineering students at the National Advanced School of Engineering of Yaounde.
Promoted to Senior Lecturer at the University of Yaounde I.
Introduced a hands-on C programming curriculum for second-year engineering students at the National Advanced School of Engineering of Yaounde, focusing on algorithmic problem-solving.
I joined the National Advanced School of Engineering of Yaounde (NASEY), University of Yaounde I, as Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Computer Engineering.
Participated in the Lattices: Algorithms, Complexity, and Cryptography program at the Simons Institute for the Theory of Computing, Berkeley, USA.
