Teaching - Hervé Talé Kalachi

My teaching activities cover cryptography, data security, cybersecurity, Python programming, error-correcting codes, code-based cryptography and mathematical tools for computer science. I teach mainly at the National Advanced School of Engineering of Yaounde (ENSPY), University of Yaounde I, and also contribute to graduate-level courses in cybersecurity and mathematical cryptology.

Engineering cycle
Cryptography and Data Security
Course for fourth-year engineering students at the National Advanced School of Engineering of Yaounde (ENSPY), University of Yaounde I.
Topics include classical and modern cryptography, symmetric and asymmetric encryption, hash functions, digital signatures, public-key infrastructures, authentication protocols and security of data exchanges.
Undergraduate
Python Programming
Course for second-year students at the National Advanced School of Engineering of Yaounde (ENSPY).
Topics include Python basics, data structures, algorithms, file handling, modular programming and practical projects.

Introduction to Error-Correcting Codes (INF332)
Course for third-year students in Mathematics, University of Yaounde I.
Topics include linear codes, Hamming distance, generator and parity-check matrices, syndrome decoding, cyclic codes and basic examples of error correction.

Code-Based Cryptography
Graduate course for Master's students in computer science, cybersecurity and mathematical cryptology.
Topics include error-correcting codes, McEliece and Niederreiter cryptosystems, rank-metric cryptography, Gabidulin and LRPC codes, structural attacks and post-quantum security.

Mathématiques pour l'Informatique
Cours destiné aux étudiants de niveau 3 des filières Humanités Numériques de l'ENSPY.
Le cours couvre des outils mathématiques utiles à l'informatique, notamment les structures discrètes, les raisonnements formels et les bases algébriques nécessaires à certains domaines de l'informatique.

Outils Mathématiques pour l'Informatique II
Cours destiné aux étudiants de niveau III des filières Art & Intelligence Artificielle (AIA) et Game Programming (GAP) de l'ENSPY.
Le cours présente des outils mathématiques nécessaires à la modélisation, au raisonnement algorithmique et aux applications informatiques.
